Don’t Be Coy
I’m coming to you from the parking lot of a Planet Fitness in Stamford, Connecticut. This is where I meet with several clients in the area. (Whether that’s worth mentioning is up for debate—but hey, it’s where I’m at.)
Here’s my ideal Monday.
As soon as my feet hit the floor, I drop into a squat.
It’s my way of loosening up my ankles, knees, and hips before I even walk to the bathroom.
Then:
15 gulps of water under the faucet (about 16 oz).
Brush teeth.
Healthy deodorant.
Take a piss.
Get dressed.
Make coffee.
While the coffee brews, I fill a glass or metal bottle with my favorite hydration mix for the first half of the day.
After a few early morning coaching calls, I sit down to work.
Headphones on → Binaural Beats playing → black-and-white marble composition book open.
I do three pages of Julia Cameron’s “Morning Pages”—stream-of-consciousness journaling. On page four, I list any to-do items or action steps.
Then I meditate on my Alignment Operating System—my mission, WHY statement, core values, vision, goals, projects, metrics, and execution plan.
After that, a quick workout (which I’ll share later this week).
During my improv days, one of my brilliant teachers Christian Capozzoli had a rule: “Don’t be coy.”
So today, I’m not going to be coy about what I do.
I help ambitious professionals attain an elite lifestyle through a grounded, transformational system that:
Improves even the most Type-A, obsessively organized individual.
Extends the health span of your physical body.
Forges social connections as a superpower.
Removes risk from a potentially volatile financial future.
You don’t have to be a morning routine freak like me—I’m just here to share the benefit of what I’ve lived, and help you craft a lifestyle that empowers you.
I’ve committed to sending an email every weekday for one month. At the end, I’ll evaluate, take your feedback, and keep what brings the most value.
This isn’t marketing fluff—it’s genuine, consistent communication. My goal is to serve you as part of my tribe, and to show up daily as a resource.
Here’s what’s coming this week:
Tuesday: Creating deeper organization and alignment.
Wednesday: The workout I mentioned above.
Thursday: Improving your social connections.
Friday: Data on removing risk and securing a more abundant financial future for you and your family.
Let’s go.
I’m done overthinking this. I’m here. I’m fired up.
And I appreciate you taking the time to read this and be part of something that’s getting better every day.
